With two workshops in the historic centre of Florence, just a stone's throw from the Duomo, Paolo Penko keeps alive the authentic dimension of the artisan workshop, where design and creation coexist in the same space.

For Paolo Penko, along with his wife Beatrice and sons Alessandro and Riccardo, being an artisan means embracing a challenge made up of passion, knowledge, creativity and the ability to renew oneself without losing one's roots. The work is understood as a path of research: a journey that begins with Florentine tradition to explore its expressive possibilities in a contemporary light. From this perspective, the artisan is configured as a guardian of Made in Italy, of the style and the know-how that represent a cultural and productive heritage.

Next to the jewellery shop, the Penko workshop creates works of sacred art and pieces for museums and institutions in Florence. It collaborates with the film industry and dedicates itself to the reconstruction of historically significant works of particular complexity through rigorous study and design.
