The Liceo Artistico Statale Porta Romana – Sesto Fiorentino is one of the historic institutions of Florentine artistic education.
Founded in the 19th century as a school dedicated to the applied arts, the institute has developed over time an educational offering focused on design and planning, while maintaining a constant connection with the city’s manufacturing tradition.
Among the active study programmes is Jewellery Design, which enables students to acquire design skills and technical knowledge in the field of metalworking and jewellery.

The Scuola del Metallo Nobile is a training institution specialised in teaching metalworking and goldsmithing techniques, based in the historic centre of Florence.
